about
Born in Naples, Italy, Antonio began his professional dance training at the age of sixteen when he moved to Dresden, Germany, to study at the Palucca University of Dance. His education encompassed a wide range of movement disciplines, from ballet to improvisation and choreographic composition, shaping his understanding of how intention translates into form.
As a professional dancer, he danced with the Semperoper ballet in Dresden and the Tivoli ballet theatre in Copenhagen, having the opportunity to perform works by renowned choreographers, including William Forsythe, George Balanchine, jiri kylian and Ohad Naharin. These experiences expanded his understanding of movement’s possibilities and continue to influence his approach as a choreographer and movement director.
Antonio’s interest in fashion emerged when he recognized its intrinsic connection to movement—both relying on the human body to come to life. This realization, combined with his continuous exploration of new movement possibilities, led him to develop a distinct approach to movement direction. His research focuses on the relationship between fashion and motion, exploring how movement can shape the perception of design and influence visual communication.
At the core of his work, Antonio focuses on bringing out the best in performers in front of the camera, helping them embody a shared vision through movement. Whether in fashion, film, or performance, his approach is driven by a search for new perspectives and innovative solutions, ensuring that movement becomes an integral part of the visual storytelling process.
